It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the untimely demise of Samuel Ochieng’ Juma (Student at NITA, Athi River) which occurred on the 28th April 2024.

He was the son of Jeremiah Juma Ooro (Communications Authority of Kenya) and Esther Atieno Sonye (The National Treasury, Pensions Department). Brother of Crystal Adhiambo Juma (UoN — Parklands Campus) and Benson Henry Onyango Juma (Consolata School).

Grandson of the Late Dominic and Prisca Ooro, Monica Ooro (of Kochia), the Late Henry Sonye Ayah and Floridah Sonye (of Seme), William Obudho and Asst. Chief Judith Ojijo.

Nephew of the Late Rebecca, Saline, Kennedy and Gladys, Benter,Anthony and Mary, Millicent, Pamela, Elvice, the Late Beatrice and Ezekiel Tumbo, Tim Ayah (the Late) and Mary, Peter Sonye and Emma, Lilian and Tom Ageke, Emily and Raphael Owino, Joseph Michael and Emma.

‘Cousin of Dave, Wycliffe, Abel, Mitchell, Emmanuel, Maxwell, Becky, Dominic Waisapne Dr. Cedric, Lavinia, Henry, Vanessa, Audrey, Sonia, Gift, Errol. Aiden, Austin, Claire, Henry, Jeremy.

Planning meetings and prayers are happening daily at the family’s residence at the Communications Authority of Kenya Staff quarters, Waiyaki Way.

There will be a fundraising on Wednesday, 8th May 2024 at the All Saints Cathedral from 5.00PM.

There will be a requiem mass on Wednesday, 15th May: 2024 at the Consolata Shrine, Westlands from 10.00AM.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Thursday, 16 May 2024 for burial on Friday, 17th May 2024 at their home in Lower Korayo Sub-location, Korayo Location, Kochia, Homa-Bay County.
