It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Samwel Kigen Arap Moek (Kapchemirmir) of Kaisagat farm, Kitale.

Husband of Jane Jeptoo Kigen. Father of Aska Jepkosgei Kigen, Duncan Kipkorir Kigen (DAN), Felix Kimaru (Kanene) and Winnie Jepchirchir (Chiro). Son of Jeremiah Kigen Chemirmir, the late Elizabeth Kobilo Kigen and the late Zipporah Shakwei Kigen ofTumeiya Location, Metkei Division, Keiyo South Constituency. Brother of the late Joseph Kimaiyo Kigen, Mary Wandai, Benjamin Kigen, Paulina Jepkemoi, the late William Kiptarus Kigen, Maria Kipkurui, the late Tarkok, Simion Kigen and Alfayo Kigen (former Councilor). Nephew of Tapngososei, the late Kimosop, Joseph, Salina, Monicah, Paulina among others. He has left behind 19 grandchildren and 1 greatgrandchild.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 5th Oct 2017 for his Kaisagat home Kitale for overnight vigil and thereafter funeral service and burial on Friday 6th Oct 2017 at his home Kaisagat farm, Kwanza constituency, Kitale. Trans-Nzoia County.
