Samwel Kiratu Kariuki

We regret to announce the demise of Samwel Kiratu Kariuki of Eldoret on the night of 14th September 2019 at the AgaKhan Hospital. He was a Director of Hotel Riverside, Sonik Tent Hire, Delicious Cafe, Club Muranga and Flamingo Drycleaners.

Son of the late Paul Kariuki Gathitu, the late Priscilla Muthoni Gathitu and the late Emiliana Nyakinywa Gathitu of Eldoret.

Beloved and dedicated husband of Sylvia Gathoni Kiratu. Father of Muthoni and Richard (Kitengela), Kariuki and Nancy (Eldoret) and Alicia Njoki (Eldoret). Doting grandfather of Meggie, Mya, Jabali and Ivan. In-law of the Kiberas of Eldoret, Ngaruiyas of Kitengela and the Ronos of Kurgung. Brother of the lateTeresa, the late Christine, the late Rebecca, the late Joseph,Veronica, the late Gathitu, Melanie, Esther, Maingi, Bernadette,Wacuka, Patrick and Nyambura. He was an uncle, cousin and grandfather of many.

Family and friends are meeting at his residence in Pioneer – Eldoret and at St. Paul’s Catholic Chapel (Nrb) daily at 6.00pm.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Funeral home on Tuesday 24th September 2019 at 8.00 am for the funeral service at Sacred Heart Cathedral Catholic Church at 10.00am and there after burial at Yamumbi Farm Cemetery.
