Sarah Cherotich Kibiego

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Sarah Cherotich Kibiego formerly of Kapkatet County Hospital which occurred on Tuesday 23rd April 2019 due to short illness bravely borne.

Beloved wife of Mr. Patrick Kibiego of Pharmacy and Poisons Board, Nairobi. She is the second daughter of Mr. Aaron Soi and the late Mrs. Esther Soi of Chesanga, Bureti sub-county Kericho county. Daughter-in-law of the late Joseph Kibiego Cherono, the late Anna Teriki Kibiego and Eunice Kibiego. Mother of Robert Kipkorir, Mathew Kibet, Angela Chepkemoi and Dennis Kiptoo; sister of Jane Ngeno, Philip John Maritim, Joshua Maritim, Jonathan Maritim, Betty Korir, Richard Maritim, Bornice Langat,Alice Kirui, Sammy Maritim and Evans Maritim Sister-in-law of Sarah, Lily, Ednah, Joyce, Rose, Colletta, Naomi, the late Ernest, Grace, Philip, Phylis, Chebet, the late Arap Ng’eno, Peter, Joseph and Charles. Mother-in-law of Lali Nalo Mutai and grandmother of Darren Kiprop and Leon Kiprono. Aunty of many.

The cortege leaves Bethania Funeral Home Kapkatet on Monday 29th April 2019 for a requiem mass at AIC Town Fellowship Church Kapkatet at 2 pm.

The burial will take place on Tuesday 30th April 2019 at her home in Kiptenden Village, Sotik sub-county, Bomet.
