It is with deep sorrow and sadness that we announce the sudden death of our beloved Scolastica Kwamboka Mogaka.

Cherished daughter of Jason Nyang’icha Mogaka and Alice Nyaboke Mogaka of Nyabworoba sub-location, Nyagesenda village, Marani sub-county. Sister of Douglas Mogaka (Kenya Army), Felix and Gertrude Mogaka (Nairobi), Victor Mogaka (Getare Pri. School) and Mary Kwamboka. Doting wife of Kevin Nyambati Nyakoe. Loving mother of Precious Bochaberi (Amjuda) and twins Praise Kwamboka and Princess Nyaboke. Daughter-in-law of Wilson Nyakoe Onchiri and Lorna Bochaberi Nyakoe of Nyamaiya, Matongo village, Nyamira County – a position she has now painfully and prematurely vacated. Dear friend and sister-in-law of Jared Nyakoe (Rangenyo Pri. School), Maclean Komen (MOH – Nakuru), Dennis Nyaricha (AP – Litein), Edna Kerubo (USA), Janet Bisieri (Eco Bank – Nairobi) and Benson Bosire (Nyamira County). Co-wife of Vicky and Ruth. In-law of Chris Komen and Wycliffe Arisi. Affectionate aunt of Nyaboke, Shannel, Brenda, Bryan, Hope and Angel.

The cortege leaves Nyamira Nursing Home (Bw’Omboga) on Wednesday 27th August 2017 for funeral service and vigil at their Nyamaiya home, Matongo village. Burial will be on Thursday 28th August 2017 from 10.00am at her Nyamaiya home.
