Death has occurred of Senior Chief Jonah Masita Areto of Kenyambi Village, (Chief of Mwagichana Location-Marani Division of Kisii County) on 27th April 2019.

Husband of Hellen Bochere Nyachio. Father of Abel Bosire (Migori County Government), Evaline Mong’ina, Alex Orina and David Nyantika. Son of the late Joash Areto and the late Mama Agnes Moguche. Brother of the late Jane Bogomba, Jeriah Omboka, Alice Moraa and Enock Oyieyo (Kisii County Government). Father-in-law of Lydiah Gesare (Migori County Government), Edinah Bitutu, Esther Boisabi and Brian Kamanda (Kisii County Government).

He is grandfather of Joshua, Jayden, Jayson, Sheila, Nicole, Shantel, Emmanuel, Clinton, Shirley, Gregory, Raymond (Likobe). Korera of Rev. Dr. Nemwel Omenta, Josephine Omenta, Ruth Gesare Obiri, the late Nelson Kabete, Dominic Maroko, Pacifica Kwamboka, Charles Mageto, the late Joyce Biyeke.

The cortege leaves Hema Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 9th May, 2019.

Burial will take place on Friday 10th May, 2019 at his Kenyambi home near Kenyambi P.A.G Church.
