It is with heavy hearts and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing to glory of Shadrack Maim Muchiri, which occurred on Sunday 13th September 2020 after a long illness. He was a prolific businessman and proprietor of Superfreight Co. Ltd, Superhouse and Shamrock Hotel.

Son of the late Mubia wa Gachuru and the late Wamburu wa Mubia. Husband to Hellen Wangui, the late Jennifer Nyambura and Margaret Wanjiku. Father to Nancy Wacera, John Mwangi, Anne Nyawira, Mike Maina, David Wanjohi, Stanley Wachlra, Faith Wairimu (USA), Gladys Wanjiru, Anthony Muchiri, Anne Nyawira, Kevin Waithaka, Joseph Waweru, Kevin Muchiri, Anne Nyawira, and Collins Kabochi.

Brother to the late Wakanyi, Jacinta Wangeci, David Wanjohi, Mercy Wanjiru, Stephen Waweru, Mary Wambui. Father-in-love to Susan Wamuyu, Eunice Wambui, Nichodemus Muriuki, Ann Bancy, Maryanne Wairimu, Tonyio Afagbegee (USA), Edel Mutiso, Job Ballard, and Carolyne Waithira.

Grandfather to Nicole, Sean.Vivian, Petra, Edwin, Fidel, G.G, Leo, Sandra, Ian, Sydney, Mitchel, Jennifer, Kabul, Kellan, Sabri, Nate, Nathan and Jayden.

Great grandfather to Tyler Maingi Maina.

Meetings will be held at CID Training School, South C, and Superhouse, Tena on Monday 21st to Wednesday 23rd September from 5pm.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Friday, 25th September 2020 at 7am for funeral service and interment to start at 11am at his home in Kinyakiiru Village, Kiangwacl in Kirinyaga County.
