Silas Omaha Kwaka

 16th October, 1979 – 12th March, 2020

We the family of the late Silas Omolo Kwaka wish to appreciate all the members of our extended family, fellowship of believers and our beloved friends, and neighbors in Nairobi and Kisumu/Nyahera who journeyed with us and enabled us to give our Son, Brother, Father and Friend a befitting send off on 26 March 2020.

Our special gratitude go to all members of the funeral committee who coordinated the interment arrangements amidst the difficult emerging environment then caused by the COVID- 19 pandemic in the country. Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the Clergy who prayed, visited and spiritually nourished us when we were weak and heartbroken. Special thanks to Archbishop Rev. Dr. Winnie Owiti, Bishop Emeritus Rev. Dr, David Oginde, together with other Clergy whose prayers, calls and encouragement strengthened us throughout this journey. We sincerely thank the fellowship of believers from VOSH Church Internationaire CITAM, Nairobi Chapel, Mavuno Down Town, Roving Team, Muscles Men’s Fellowship, NET Ministries and the body of Christ who were with us in Nairobi and Nyahera then and continued thereafter.

To the medical team — Dr. Andrew Odhiambo, Dr. Eric Murunga, Dr. Theo Wangata, Dr. Raiesh and Dr. Vikas of Mohak Hi Tech Speciality Hospital – India and the Coptic Hospital – Nairobi. We appreciate your professional care accorded to Silas throughout his ailment.

To you our relatives, friends, professional colleagues, ICPAK Nyanza, ICPAK PFT Nairobi, neighbors, brothers, and sisters in Christ, we are unable to mention you each by name, but we cannot forget your labor of love — your generous monetary and physical gifts, warm visits and presence, encouraging texts, calls, and messages and your acts of mercy and kindness will forever be etched in our hearts and minds and it..,for this, we are ever grateful.
