SIMON KARUGA GATHUNGURI

Death has occurred of Simon Karuga Gathunguri of Banana Hill.

He was a son of the late Gathunguri Githara and Alice Nyambura. Simon was husband to Margaret Nyambura, father of Alice Nyambura, Gilbert and Faith Gathunguri, Bedan and Ann Kimani and Rachel Wanjiku.

Son in law to the late Bedan Kimani and Rachel Wanjiku of Lari. Brother to the late Isabella Wanjiku, Silas Mwaura, Grace Njeri, Raymond Kuria, Wairimu, Hannah Wanjiru and Gideon Waweru. He was step brother to Leonard Kamanu Gathunguri, Priscilla Wanjiku Waithaka, and Lilian Wairimu Muturi among others. He was a dear great grandfather, grandfather, uncle and friend to many.

The cortege leaves Coptic Hospital mortuary on Saturday 21st May 2022 for a service at ACK Muthurwa Church (near Banana Hill) at 11 am. The burial will follow at the family farm next to the church.
