It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Sir Joseph Wekesa Namayengo .

Son of the late Lheloti Namayengo and the late Susan Kandari Bosani of Kaptola Village, Mt. Elgon. Husband of Bilha Nasambu Wekesa. Father of Florence Namayengo, Cornelius Namayengo, Felly Wekesa, the late Mary Wekesa, Rev. Fr Pius Wekesa, the late Zipporah Wekesa, Scholar Wekesa, Cir. Benja Namayengo, Alice Wekesa and Lawrence Wekesa. Brother of Julius Namayengo, Bilha Okisai, the late Elizabeth Nasike, John Mulongo, Peter Mukhwana, Henry Khisa, the late Patrick Khamala (Katambala) among others. Brother-in-law of Isaiah Sangura and Neddy Musamali among others. Grandfather of Jacqueline Wekesa, Brian Kitundu, Tina Wekesa, Irene Wekesa, Susan Wekesa, Teddy Musamali, Louise Nanjala,Fletcher Musamali, Deo Namayengo, Kevin Musamali and Lakeisha Capogna among the 21 grandchildren. Great grandfather to 19 off springs.

The cortege leaves Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Eldoret on Thursday 14th September, 2017. Burial will be on Saturday 16th September, 2017 at Kaptola Village, Mt. Elgon District, Bungoma County, from 10.00 a.m.
