Sister-in-Christ Elder Tabitha Muthoni Mburu

It is with a humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Sister in Christ Elder Tabitha Muthoni Mburu. Manager – Githiga Children’s Home. She hails from Githiga B, Githunguri Sub-County, Kiambu County.

Daughter of the late George Baiya Waithiru and the late Peris Nduta Baiya. Wife of the late Harun Mburu Kihiu. Mother of Hannah Wanjiru of Wanandege Sacco, Peris Nduta of Kiambu County Government, Githiga Ward Office, Charity Wairimu of Legorn Feeds, the late Godffrey Kihiu and George Kairu of Co-operative University. Sister of Mwicigi and the late Nancy (Nakuru), Waithiru and Tabitha (Thika), Muhoro and Margaret (Githiga), Ruth and Cephas (Gitiha), Njenga and Edith (Githiga), Edith and the late Mwangi (Kemri), Mburu and Virginia (Githiga), Mary (JKUAT), Ndung’u (Mombasa) and Dr. Perpetual (JKUAT), Prof. Evans and Jacqualine (U.S.A) and Advocate Njoroge Baiya former M.P Githunguri and others. Daughter-in-law of the late Godffrey Kihiu Mutura and the late Hannah Warigia Kihiu. Sister-in-law of Charity (Kiababu), Nyokabi (Ndeiya),Violet (Gathaithi), Njoroge (Githiga), Njeri Kimani (Maragua), Kamwende, Waithima and Mirugi (Githiga). She was auntie and grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting at her home Githiga B daily for prayers and funeral arrangements from 4:00 pm.

Cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home (K.U) on Wednesday 11/7/2018 at 8:00 am. Service will be held at P.C.E.A Karuthi Church from 11:00 am, thereafter burial at her home Githiga B.
