It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Solomon Thirimu Murigu, Director, Wananchi Sacco.
Loving husband of the late Naomi Wanjira Thirimu. Son of the late Ex-Senior Chief Murigu lrimu and late Mercy Wairimu (Wanjogu).
Beloved father of Mercy Wairimu Thirimu, Dolly Wangui and Dr. James Keffa Kariuki, the late James Murigu and Nancy Wanja Murigu, Charity Hiuko and Peter Gicheru, the late Faith Wanjiku, Rachel Gathoni and Greg Muraya, Wambui Thirimu and Darren Scott and Purity Wakiuru Thirimu.
Doting grandfather of Thirimu and Murigu Wairimu; Wangari, Ken and Naomi Kariuki; Naomi, Thirimu and Wambui Murigu; Esabel, Wachira, Thirimu and Wanjau Gicheru; Christopher,Thirimu and Sara Muraya. Brother of the late Hiuko Ruhiu, the late Gathoni Ngari, Wakiuru Weru, the late Timothy lrimu, the late Kirigo Magondu and the late Charles Njiiri.
Thanks giving services will be held on Sunday, 09 February 2020 at 3.30pm at Thome Estate, Nairobi and on Wednesday, 12 February at 3.30prn at his home in Gaikuyu.
The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Friday, 14 February, 2020 at 7.00 am for the funeral service and burial at his home in Gaikuyu, Magutu, Nyeri County starting at 10.00arn.
Those we love do not go away, they walk beside us every day.
