It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the Promotion to Glory of our beloved Mom, Grandma & Great Grandma Sophia Wanjiku Kagua (Nyina on Kiarie) that occurred on 22nd June 2018.

Wife of the Late Johnson Kagua Kiarie. Mother of the Late Samuel Kiarie, the Late Jeremiah Kiarie, Naomie Wambui Kiarie, John Kamau Kiarie, Alice Waithera Karigi, Perminus Mbugua Kiarie, Peter Njenga Kiarie and Jane Mwihaki Kiarie (UK).

Mother-in-law of Typhine Kiarie, the Late Esther Warnbui Kiarie, Catherine Njoki Kamau, Joel Karigi Kamande, Elizabeth Mbugua and Maureen Njeri Njenga.

Sister of the late Peninah Wanjiru, the late Zebidah Wambui, the late Perminus Mbugua, Tabitha Mulwa, the late Karanja, the late Joseph Njuguna, Eudiah Muhura and Jane Njambi Ng’ang’a.

Sister in law of Gitau Kiarie (Molo), Late Wanjiru Kiarie and Waithera Kagema. Grandmother of Eric Kimathi (UK), Tony Njuguna, Sophia Njuguna, Sophia Kivungi, Donald Kivungi, Johnson Jeremiah, Maureen Kagua, Sophia Kamau, Johnson Kamau, Vivian Kiarie, Sophia Mbugua, Johnson Mbugua, Johnson Njenga, Wahome Mbugua, Kamande Karigi, Tracy Irungu, Wamaitha Karigi, Sophia Njenga, Chris Irungu, Wanjeri Kamau, Johnson Irungu and Jeremy Kirathimo. Great Grand Mother of Kaitlyn Njeri, Shemice Kagua, Jason Kamau, Ryan Ngondo, Shamira Kagua & Sofia Kimathi. Auntie and a beloved friend to many.

Friends and faintly are meeting daily at PCEA Nairobi West Church from 5Pm for Burial arrangements.

The Cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on Thursday 28th June 2018 at 8.30Am for a Church Service at PCEA Church of Torch in Kikuyu at 10.00Am: thereafter she will be laid to rest at the Church of Torch Cemetery (Kikuyu).
