Appreciation

Mr. Absolom Mwangi and the entire Mwangi family wish to most sincerely thank all the wonderful people who graciously supported us following the illness and subsequent demise on the 30′) of April 2022 of our beloved matriarch Speranza Nyaguthii Mwangi. Your sacrificial generosity, prayers, visits, heartwarming messages, financial support and physical presence during this time will forever remain etched in our hearts.

We are grateful for the various prayers and Masses offered by clergy from Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Ridgeways, St Francis Xavier Parklands, Consolata, Holy Trinity Kileleshwa and various priests from the Arch Diocese of Nyeri and the Dioceses of Muranga, Nakuru, Lodwar and Eldoret.

Our special gratitude goes out to the doctors, nurses, specialists and the entire team of MP Shah Hospital (Nairobi) for the wonderful care afforded to Speranza throughout her illness and hospitalization. Special thanks to her key treatment providers Dr Julius Kiboi and Dr Gladwell Kiarie.

We are also particularly grateful for Speranza’s affiliate groups that rallied their support and love for the family including the Sparrows, the Catholic Women’s Association from Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, St. Francis of Assisi Small Christian Community, Garden Court Resident Association, Garden Court Ladies, Garden Court Welfare,Tuiretu twa Maria and all other groups who supported and continue to support the family.

We deeply appreciate the love and support from our in-laws the Mutisya’s, Muthoka’s, Mungai’s and the McCorckles, our family members from the larger Ndugire and Muriithi families and the many institutions, organisations, groups and individuals affiliated with the Mwangi family members in Kenya and the diaspora.

We deeply appreciate each one of you for the outpouring of love we have witnessed. Kindly take this message as a token of our most sincere appreciation. We thank the almighty God for you and humbly request his abundant blessings upon you and your loved ones.
