The franciscan sisters of St. Joseph Asumbi, announce the demise of their beloved Sister Rose Kerubo of Kisii Diocese, Gekano Parish, Nyamira County, Gechona Sub-location, Gechona village which occurred on 30th June 2018 due to road accident.

Daughter of the late Yuvenalis Moriani and the late Concepta Mongina. Step-daughter of Sarah Nyaboke. Sister of Zablon Ongaga, Mary Kemunto, Florence Gesare, the late Peter Momanyi, Justus Nyamasege, Chrisantus Moseti,Kernunto and Ooga. Niece of Marisirina, Nyaruri, the late Marcela, Mokeira, Nyaboke, Nyanchama, Zacharia, John, Nyakundi, Nyabioge, Richard, Onkangi, Sabario and Ondieki among others.

Cousin of Peter Masese (Central Bank), the late James, Guto, Nyangau (Chui), Otora, Andrew, Jairus Moseti (Kula Pry), Nyamweya, Pius among others. Grandaughtes of Oogs and Momanyi. Sister-in-law to Monica, Josephine, Stella. Aunt of Daniel, Wilkister (Wilma Stationaries Kisii), Beatrice of Gusii Water, Marcella, Linus (Agakhan), Vincent (Dc’s Kisii), Benard (Human Rights Kitale), Nyakundi’s, Collins (Servant of Mary), Dennis (Little Serant of The Immaculate Heart of Mary), Samson of CUEA, James of Nakummat, John among others.

The cortege leaves Christamariane Mission Hospital Kisii on 8th July 2018 for reception Mass at St.Theresa’s Asumbi Mother House Chapel.

Funeral and burial mass will be on 9th July 2018 at the same venue. Thereafter the body will be laid to rest at Asumbi Cemetry
