It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing to Glory of (SSP) Philip Mwania, who until his death was the Limuru Sub-county Police Commander, through a tragic road accident on 1 March 2024.

He was a loving husband of Amina Mwende Philip. Father of Lucy Kavinya Philip and Robert Philip. Grandfather of Ryan Philip Mutemi. Father-in-law of Peter Mutemi Makau.

Son of Robert Mwania Mbono and Koki Mwania. Brother of David, Monica, Jogoo, Joyce, Kathambula, Mwangangi,
Musenya, Ndinda and Kavata.

Brother-in-law of Julia, Kaindi, Syongii, Jamila and Rhoda.

Cousin of Musyoka, Musee, Kiema, Mary, Mutwii, Lillian, Mutunie, Makuthu, Iluku, Mwende and many others

The cortege leaves Kitui Level 4 Hospital Mortuary on Saturday 9th March 2024 at 8.00 am for funeral service at Chuluni grounds and there after burial at his home in Nzambani, Kitui County.
