We, the entire family of the Late Stan Chumba Wijenje would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all who stood with us following his demise and throughout the journey to his final resting place. Your messages of sympathy, words of comfort, prayers, physical presence, emotional and financial support, and overwhelming generosity are truly appreciated.

A very special appreciation goes to the doctors who worked tirelessly to treat Stan; Dr. Luke Musau, Gladwell Kiarie, Dr. Abwao, Dr. Kiboi, Dr. Fazal, Dr. Munene, Dr. Olang’, Dr. Otieno, Dr. Gathua, Dr. Kariuki, Lucy of dial-a-nurse and her team especially James the home-care nurse; the staff at MP Shah Hospital,The Nairobi Hospital and Lee funeral home.

We acknowledge the clergy at St. Austin’s Parish Nairobi and St. Pius Catholic church in Endebess. We also appreciate the support from Kusters Engineering Netherlands and Braeburn Garden Estate staff and students. Special thanks also go to the funeral committee who worked hard to ensure that Stan had a befitting send-off.

We are truly grateful to everyone who played a role in making this difficult time bearable. Since it is not possible to mention everyone, please accept this as a message of our sincere gratitude and appreciation to each and every one of you. We are truly humbled by the outpouring of love, support and thoughtfulness during this period of mourning.
