Stanley Nganga Mugiti

(1932- 2019)

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley Nganga Mugiti of Gatitu Village Nyeri.

Son of the Late Harrison Mugiti Murage and the Late Esther Wangari Mugiti. Loving husband of Esther Kirigo Nganga. Brother of Benson Murage, Julia Muthoni Costin, the Late Loise Wanjiku Platt, Stephen Njoroge, Phoebe Wamuyu Wairi, Wilfred Gitia, Cecilia Wanjira Mwema, the Late Joseph Wanderi, Robert Gachara and Irene Muthoni. Father of Purity Wangari, Phyllis Njambi, the Late Julia Kagure, James Wachira, the Late Duncan Ndegwa and Joanne Wamuyu. Grandfather of Aisha Kibaya, Maurine Wambui, Jihan Kibaya, Ian Nganga, Allan Nganga, Sadeeq Yusuf, Erick Wamiti, Melvin Ndegwa, Marlin Nderitu and Tugi Mutugi. Great Grandfather of Ruby and Julia. Father in love of Osman Yusuf and Anne Wachira. Brother-in-law of Margaret Ndegwa, Mukami McCrum, Grace Wachira and others.

Prayers and funeral arrangements are being held at Stanley’s home in Githanjagua, Gatitu Village, Nyeri County at 4.00 pm daily. Nairobi meetings are taking place at All Saints Cathedral at 5.30 pm daily, from Tuesday to Thursday this week.

The cortege leaves Mathari Hospital Nyeri at 8.30 am on Saturday 11th May 2019 for a funeral service at 10.00 am at Githima PCEA Church (opposite Kiamuiru Primary School), followed by burial at Githanjagua near Mugwathi Garden Motel.

A funds drive to defray hospital bills and funeral expenses will be held at All Saints Cathedral on Thursday 9th May from 5.30pm.
