Stella Luyayi Lumwaji

It is with profound sadness that we regret to announce the death of Stella Luyayi Lumwaji of St. Monica Girls High School, Kitale which occurred on 29/05/2019 following a short illness.

Wife of the late Dr. Alfred Wanjusi Barasa. Mother of Kelvin Barasa and Miranda Barasa (CDC Kenya). Guardian of Elkins, Maxwell and the late Collins Achwanya. Daughter of the late Nelson Lumwaji and the late Robai Andega Lumwaji. Daughter-in-law of the late Mabo Wanjusi and Getrude Wanjusi. Sister of Stanley, the lace Knight, Fred, the late Amos, the late James and Geoffrey. Grandmother of Lauren Billy. Mother-in-law of Brian Awuor. Sister-in-law of Peter, Joseph, Zipporah, Linet and Margaret. Aunt of Brigid, Japheth, Georgina, Judy, Tony, Knight, Alfred and many others. Cousin, friend and colleague of many.

The cortege leaves Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary on 06/06/2019 for her home in Kitale, then will be transported to her farm in Mbururu, Nzoia on 07/06/2019 where she will be laid to rest on Saturday 8th June, 2019.

Friends and family are meeting daily at her Kitale home from 5.00pm.
