Stella Mutethya Makau (Mrs. Mugiira)

We regret to announce the passing on of Stella Mutethya Makau (Mrs. Mugiira) at Komarock Modern Hospital on 20th March 2024 after a short illness. She was a lecturer at KMTC Thika Campus, Nutrition Department, and a member of St Joseph the worker Catholic Church Mutonya.

Wife of Antony Mugiira (Chogoria Boys). Loving mother of Ruth Kaguri, Rufina Munro, Raphael Mutuma, Rita Kanene, and Rodrick Mwongela.

Beloved daughter of the late Alfred Makau Mina and Priscilla Kavete Munyao (Mrs. Makau-Makongo). Daughter in-law of Martha Ngiri and the late John M’Arimba.

Sister of Brigid Nduki (Kilolo Pri), Emmanuel Makau (MSF), Felix Kiamba (KK) and Cyril Musomba (BIFA).

Sister-in-law of the late Simon Gikunda, Cosmas Mutai, James Mwiti, Sarah Nguta, Esther Gaiti, Priscilla Miriko, Stella Ndumba, Dr. Lillian Nthenya, James Musau and Lydia Kiamba.

Aunt of Ethan Makau, Chrispus Makau, Beryl, Munyao, Judy, Immaculate, Muuo, Musau, Ntinyari, Emmanuel, Mutethia, Lucy,Victor, Josphat, Stely Roymark, Amani, Wilkster, Nyaboke, Celestine, Agnes, Franklin,Titus, Munene, Kimathi, Blessing Murangiri, Pracxedes, Fernando, and many others.

Niece to Wilfred Musyoka, Jackson Muthama, Angeline Mwende, Nduku Muia, Elizabeth Munyao, Kilei, Ndarnbuki among others.

Daily prayers and meetings are being held at her residence in Ruiru Bypass, Mutonya, Mashinani from 5.00 pm.

Cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Tuesday 2nd April 2024 for burial at her rural home in Nkubu, Meru County on the same date.
