Stephen Kamau Githinji (Githinji Wa Naomi)

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved Stephen Kamau Githinji (S.K) on 4th March 2019 at Avenue Hospital Nairobi. He hailed from Kaimiri village in Kigumo, Muranga and was an alumnus of The Starehe Boys Center.

Son of the late Naomi Waithera Kabuki and the late Kabuki Gitiiku. Husband of Lucy Wanjiru Githinji. Father of Naomi Waithera Githinji and Lilian Wairimu Githinji (Kenya School of Law). Brother of the late David Kimani, Charles Githahu and Jane Wanjiku. In law of the family of Musembis of Kagambwa — Muirigo. Uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are meeting at the Garden Square restaurant in Nairobi and at his home in Umoja Estate.

The memorial service will be held at the Umash funeral home – Mbagathi Road on Tuesday 12th March 2019 at 9.00am followed by burial hereafter at Langata Cemetery.
