Stephen Marigi Gathigi (Mr. Matasia)

It is with heavy hearts we announce the demise of our father, Stephen Marigi Gathigi (Mr. Matasia) of Kiserian, Kajiado West, which occurred on 19th April 2020.

Loving husband of Edith Wairimu Marigi. Son of the late Patrick Gathigi Gathuka and the late Teresia Nyokabi Gathigi. Step son of the late Lucy Njoki Gathigi. Son-in-law of the late Moses Kiburi Thumbi and Esther Nyamatu Kiburi.

Father of Eric Gathigi, Kevin Muraya, Gerald Gathigi, Moses Kiburi, Teresiah Nyokabi and Esther Nyamatu Kahugu. Father-in-law of Lucy Wanjiru Gathigi and Isaac Kahugu Njunge.

Grandfather of Stevin Rigz Marigi, Jaden Marigi, Niah Mumbi, Edith Wairimu and Jamba Kahugu. Brother, brother in law, cousin, uncle, grandfather and friend to many.

He will be laid to rest on Friday, 24th April, 2020, at his farm in Kiserian.
