Stephen Mekenye Omambia

It is with great sorrow that we announce the untimely demise of Stephen Mekenye Omambia, which occurred on 31^st December 2022, at the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH).

He was the son of Mzee Joel Omambia Onchiri and the late Pauline Nyangara/ Mama Hellen Osebe.

He was loving husband to Jane Ntinyari, and father to Sheila Moraa and Maureen Gacheri.

He was brother to Ruth Mogotu, Dickson Ombaso, the late Elijah Mogoi, Amis, Pauline, Nyabonyi, Buyaki, Moraa, Deborah, Lydia and Onchiri.

Grandson to the late Amos Onchiri and late BuyakI, Late Maina, Late Ombui, late Onchuru among others.

Son in law to Mzee Robert kathurima and Mama Monica Gakii. Brother in-law to Elkana, Shem, Patrick, Geoffrey, Dominic. Josephine, Rachael, Gladys, Muthiora, kaimenyi, Muriuki, kamira,  Mwariumwe and Mutimbi.

Nephew to the late Oketch, the late Anyieni, the late Abuga, the late Bosibori, Moraa, Elizabeth, Nyarangi, Omanga ,Nyameto Mekenye, Makendo, Amis , Omambia Maina, Omamga Maina, Nyatangi, Nyamwaya,  Mary, Hellen, Miriam, Kennedy, late Francis, Jane, Moses, Nyanchama, Sabina, Florence, Alice, and Kerubo.

Family and friends are invited to a fundraising on Tuesday 10th January 2023, 1730hrs (5.30pm) at Garden Square, Nairobi. Mpesa contributions to Stephen Ongeri on 0724412719.

The cortege will leave the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) Funeral Home, Nairobi for Magenche, Kisii on Thursday 12th January 2023. Interment is scheduled for Friday 13th January 2023 at his Home, in Magenche Village, Kisii County.

We pray that God grants us all fortitude to bear this grief. May Steve’s soul rest in eternal peace.
