It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Stephen Mugweru Kahuthia of Steka Hardware, Karai through a tragic Road Accident along Nairobi – Nakuru Highway at Gilgil on Thursday 24th October 2019.

Son of the late Kahuthia Ngundo and Edith Wanja of Kianganda village Othaya; Nyeri County. Husband of Betty Mugweru of Faida Investment Bank. Father of Samuel Muraya, Fiona Wanjiku and Godfrey Kahuthia (Kabarak University). Brother of the late Julius Ngundo, Chrispus Wachira, Irene Waniiru (Sheria House), Jane Gathoni, Susan Wangechi, Daniel Wanjohi, Mary Nyaguthii, Reginah Wambui and James Mwangi. Uncle of Kahuthia Ngundo, Wangechi Ngundo, Njeri Gichogo, Wanja Mwai, Phyllis Njeri, among many others. Son in-law of Elizabeth Nioki of Nakuru. Brother-in-law of the late Ann Nduta, Joyce Wambui (Kenol), Philis Mwihaki (UK), Virginia Ngundo, Judy Wachira, Lucy Wanjohi, Willy Muriithi, Isaac Githinii and Nancy Mwangi.

Family and Friends are meeting daily at Abbey Hotel 4th Floor (Simba Hall), his residence Kiamumbi and at his father’s farm Kianganda village, Othaya Sub- County.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University on Saturday 2nd November at 7:00am. Funeral service to follow at their Kianganda home, Othaya Sub- County, Nyeri County near Dc’s office and Gitandara Hotel starting 11:00am.
