Stephen Omwenga Onsembe

We wish to announce the death of Mzee Stephen Omwenga Onsembe which occurred in his sleep on 4th May 2018.

Loving son of the late Japheth Onsembe Ogwoka, the late Jerusha Kemuma Onsembe and the late Miriam Kemunto Onsembe. He was husband to Isabella Moraa Omwenga. Father to Dr. George and Jacqueline Isanda Omwenga, Gladys and Obed Osiemo Nyanchiri, Daniel and Doricah Mogire (USA), the late Joyce Kwamboka and Lucas Nyakoe, the late Jackline Kemunto and Misati Ongori, and the late Fred Aondo and Frida Mogoi Aondo.

Grandfather to Brian. Joseph, Marydiana, Jacqueline, Joyce, Gamaliel, Edwin, Jackline, Andrew, Simon and Mikaela. Brother to the late Johnson Orina, the late Christopher Matoke, Christopher Manduku, Nyaboke Morike, Tabitha Marube Morwani, the late Tabitha Orina, Meshack Onchweri, William Onchweri, the late Simon Abunga, Nemwel Abunga, Nahashon Ogoti, the late Elizabeth Makori, Theresia Nyamumbo, Jelia Mongina Nyasae.

Brother in-law to Joel Oisera, Lucy Ongombe, Orina, Kibagendi, Ben, Margaret Manduku, Mary, Esther, Margaret Ogoti among others. Semo to Job Ongombe among others. Cousin to Aondos, Dr Hezron Manduku, Mogakas, Dr. Eric Abunga, Onkoba, Samuel Manduku among others.

The cortege leaves Hema Hospital Mortuary today Thursday 17th May for burial which will take place on Friday 18th May 2018 at his home in Taracha Village, Keumbu Location, Kisii County.
