Susan Soila Sayialel

1962-2018

It is with humble acceptance that we announce the death of Susan Soila Sayialel through cancer. She was the greatest icon of the Amboseli Trust for Elephants. Her life and passion was always devoted to protection and research of the Amboseli Elephants and its people.

Beloved daughter of the late Sayialel Noombaek and Gladys Naisianoi Sayialel. Mother of Robert Ntawuasa, Patrick Mayiani and Cynthia Sian. Sister of the late Letoya, the late Mateu, Narida, Resian, Leyian, Lernomo, Lemayian, Namunyak, Lonina and Tipape. Step sister of Shirim, Kennedy, Kampaine, Otuma, Milanoi and Shina. Sister-in-law of Njeru, Wamaitha, Naomi, Wangui and Jesse. Niece of the late George Pertet, the late Rahab, the late Fred, the late Wuantai, the late Francis, the late Leperes, the late Richard, Florence, Lilian, Cris Pertet, and Ann.

Cousin of Nkini, Leah, Jedidah, Kenneth, the late Saibolo, Mayiani, Leng’ete, Ibra, Joseph, Peninah, David, Beatrice, Sein, George, Geoffrey. Bob, Soila, Eneth, Juliet, Miriam. Jimna. Jonah, Rueben, Denis, Njoki, Gitau, Priscilla, Juliet, Kasaine, Laisa, Gladys,Vickie, Musa, Juliet. Chantal, Zaydah, Solonka, Parsanka, Kanai, Memsi, Lepapa, Naleku, Naakae. Salsa and Nkini.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Quincy Mall (Rasasi) Langata at 5pm.

The cortege leaves Umash funeral home on Saturday 18th August 2018 at 05 30am for burial at her home in Loitokitok.
