Appreciation

We, Bernard Basilio Njoroge, Martin Njoroge Irungu and the immediate Jiwekee family of Susan Waceke Kihara Irungu are immensely grateful for the overwhelming support from our extended family, friends, neighbours and well-wishers at the time we mourned the loss of our family jewel, wife and mom. Your moral, spiritual and material support did make light our grief and burden of giving our Susan a befitting send-off.

Your presence, kind words and generous contributions through it all liked our spirits at the time the world seemed so cruel, cold and empty. We sincerely thank God our creator for giving us Susan for 50 wonderful years, Doctors and ICU staff at Metropolitan Hospital in Nairobi for easing her pain, Lee Funeral Home, Relatives and friends who comforted us at home and during our burial committee meetings. Our diaspora relatives and friends in UK, USA and UAE, Business communities Nyarnakima, Nasra Business community, Nasra By-Grace court neighbors, ABM (EA) Ltd folks, Nakuru, Naivasha, Mirera and Banita committees that coordinated various service providers to make the final send off a success that it was. Pastors and spiritual counselors who fellowshipped with us. The befitting requiem mass and support by the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Buruburu and the final send-off rites by St. Augustine Bahati Catholic Church were amazing.

As we are unable to acknowledge every person by name we request that you take this as an expression of our family’s deepest appreciation, Asanteni Sana.

Let us relive Waceke’s commitment to ‘Love, genuine hugs, family and smiles’ that guided the memorable encounters that many who knew her experienced.
