Sussy Megon Ogwayo Weke

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Sussy Ogwayo Weke following a long illness bravely borne.

Beloved daughter of the late Aggrey Ogwayo and Priscah Ogwayo and a loving wife of Nicholas Karume Weke. Beloved mother of Neni Weke, Wani Weke, Imani Weke and Abbye Weke. Loving sister of Sally Ogwayo, Annmarie Ogwayo, Nicole Mulinya, Natasha Goiri, Imelda Chigozie and John Paul Ogwayo.

Daughter-in-law of the late Elly Weke and Roselyne Weke. Sister-in-law of Eugene Weke, the late Andrew Weke, Jack Weke, Caroline Weke, Teddy Mulinya, Unai Goiri, Mikel Chigozie.

Niece of Major-General (Rtd) Barrack Onyango and Philomena Onyango, Prof Orinda and Florence Orinda, Adams Nyabera and Mary Nyabera.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Golden Spot Restaurant on Chaka Road, Kilimani, Nairobi and Mugoya South C House No. 140 for burial preparations.

Memorial service shall be held at 10 AM on Monday December 23, 2019 at Kenya Assemblies of God South C Church located along Oleshapara Road next to the Kenya Water Institute.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home Nairobi on Thursday December 26, 2019, for overnight stay at her home in Rongo, Migori County. A funeral mass and burial shall be held on Friday December 27, 2019 at her home.
