Susy Wagabi Wandera

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Susy Wagabi Wandera which occurred on November 14th, 2018 after a short illness in Nairobi. Until her demise, Susy was the Secretary of the Board of Climate Change Focal Point.

Daughter of the late Prof Joshua Geoffrey Wagabi Wandera and the late Mama Bella Nekesa Wandera of Bubango Village, Rumbiye Location, Nanguba Location — Samia Sounth, Busia County. Sister of Rosemary Wandera. Granddaughter of the late George William Wagabi Nakhadola, Julia Auma Wagabi of Samia, the late Paul Nakitare and Leah Mukhwana Munyole of Kuywa, Bungoma County.

Niece of Frank Wagabi, Henry Dome, Godfrey Okanya, Batseba Lihanda, Captain Hon. Davis Nakitare, Justus Munyole, Senator James Machio’s family, the late Prof Gregory Maloba, Beatrice Maloba, Fredrick Dome, Rabuchis, Okungus, Dr Wilber Lwande, Late Albert Wagabi, Musweras, Oukos, Awilis, O’nga’ngos, Pambas among many others.

There will be fundraising to offset funeral expenses at All Saints Cathedral on November 27th, 2018 (tomorrow) starting at 5pm.

The cortege shall leave Chiromo Mortuary on November 29th 2018 at 7am for funeral service at All Saints Cathedral from 9.00am.

Burial is scheduled for December 1st at her father’s home in Bubango Village, Samia South, Funyula Constituency — Busia County.
