Sylvester Clement Otenya

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Mr. Sylvester Clement Otenya which occurred on Wednesday, 7th December, 2022 at Mediheal Hospital, Nakuru, after a long illness bravely borne.

Son to the late Augustine Ochogia Omunyini and the late Veronica Amoit Ochogia. Son-in-law to the late Lawrence Chege and the late Felister Wanjiru.

Loving husband to Mary Njoki Otenya. Father to Anthony, Delphine, Assumpta,Victor and Silvya Ekajul. Father-in-law to Winnie Wamahindi, Marcus R Boyd (USA), Margaret Wanjigi and Felix Micheni. Grandfather to Jesse, Phillipa, Theodore, Andrew, Wambui, Makena and Maya.

Brother to the late Philip, the late Pauline, the late Peter, the late Francis, and Allem of Naitiri-Bungoma, Prisca of Busia, Patrick, the late Gladys, Raymond, Gilbert, Daniel, Stephen and Stanley.

Brother-in-law to the late Rael, the late Christine, Doris and Mable. He was loving uncle, cousin, and friend to
many.

The cortege leaves PNN Funeral Parlour (Next to Mediheal Hospital, Nakuru) on Friday. 16th December, 2022 at 8:00am for a funeral service at St. Francis Catholic Church,Teachers, Nakuru from 10:00am and thereafter he will be laid to rest at the Nakuru South Cemetery. He rested at the age of 77 years.
