It is with humble acceptance of the Lord’s will that we announce the demise of Mama Tabitha Nkanata of Mariinya-A-Ruibi village, Kiirua Location, Buuri Sub-County, Meru County which occurred on 29th/03/2021 at Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital, Nairobi.

Daughter of the late M’Miricui Chiumu and the late Sarah Miricui. Loving wife of the late Elijah M’Nkanata.

Mother of Henry Kirima, Nathan Mbaabu, Lucy Kigetu, Paul Mwiti, Ruth Kanyiri, Robert Kinyua, Lewis Gatobu and Catherine Mwendwa. Step mother of Jennifer Nguta, Hellen Mukuba, Silas Maingi and Fridah Kagwiria. Mother-in-law of Jacinta Kirima, Doris Mbaabu, Stanley Gituma, Susan Mwiti, Robert Kiriinya, Celine Kinyua, Peninah Gatobu, Karim’ Maingi, Francis Muriungi and Timothy Muriungi. Was grandmother and great grandmother to many.

Family and friends are meeting every day at her home in Mariinya-A-Ruibi village for prayer and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta Memorial Funeral Home on Saturday 3rd April 2021 at 6.00am. The funeral and burial service will take place at her home in Marinya-A-Ruibi village on the same day.
