It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Tabitha Mutune Ciatheru M’Araya of Kianjai, Tigania West, Meru County which occurred on 23/05/2019.

She was the daughter of Katheru and Ciamirithu of Kaliati Village, Kitheo, Meru County. She was sister to M’atuma, M’Ethaiba M’Eringo, M’Tuamikwa, M’Karau, Muthoni, Nkui and Mbeti. Loving mother of John Linturiri, Humphrey Kaburia, James Kathiong’e, the Late Charity Kanario and Joyce Ngoki. Mother-in-law of Florence Linturiri, Late Stella Kaburia and Susan Kathiong’e. Co-wife of Judith Murocia (Bamung’o).

Step mother of Mwathira, Marimba, Kaunjuga, Mucheke, Kianji, Ng’olua, Nthing’aa and Kanono. Step mother-in-law of Mary Marimba, Maritha Mucheke, Janet Ng’olua, Mary Kaunjuga. Grandmother of Nyiruu, Nkirote, Ronald, Edward, John, Brenda, Mwingirwa, Jane, Karimi, Kinanu, Kabwe, Muriira, Nkatha, Mucui, Kajuju, Kinya, step grandmother of Njati, Ntuti, Mutuma, Kobia, Kaiyera, Chris,Tabitha, Kaberia, Mutwiri, Mung’athia, Mukami, Judy, Poly and Agnes. Great grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at her home at Mutionjuri – Kianjai, Meru.

The cortege will leave Meru Funeral Home on 1st June, 2019 at 9:00am for funeral service and burial at her home, Mutionjuri Village, Kianjai, Meru County.
