Teresa Kirangari Muburi (Mama Roy)

It is with sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our mum, Teresa Kirangari Muburi on July 2, 2019 at the MP Shah Hospital, Nairobi.

She was the daughter of the late Lawrence Mwirigi Ndumani and the late Idda Wathi Mwirigi. She is survived by her husband, Mathew Muburi and her children; Chris & Maureen Muburi, George & Rachel Muburi, Josephine & Daniel Wamahiu, Cecilia & George Kiiru, Evelyn & Edward Kiarie, Elizabeth & David Wangugi, Catherine & Lucas Mbugua, and Anthony James Muburi.

She was sister of Rose Njeri, Paul Murimi, Celina Mutire, the late Jacinta Warigia, Nancy Mumbi, and the late Peter Macharia. She was sister in-law of Murangaru, Nganga, Regina, Peris, Mary, Allois, Cecilia, and the late Wamwere. She was grandmother of Nicole, Michelle, Kelsea, Connor, Ciiku, Mwangi,Alex, Kayla, Erin, Aiden, and Mateo. She was aunty, cousin and friend to many. She was an in-law of the Njogu’s, the Muchai’s, the Mwangi’s, the Ngugi’s, the Karanja’s, the Ngigi’s, and the Gikonyo’s.

Family and friends will meet on Thursday July 4th and Saturday July 6th from 4-8pm at the family home in Thome for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The burial will be held on Monday, July 8th, at Karati, South Kinangop Nyandarua county, near kwa Joma Shopping Centre.

She will forever be remembered and dearly missed by her family, relatives and friends. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
