Acknowledgement

The family of the late Thecla Neema Lohay of Sompet Oloitokitok, who died on Saturday 11th February, 2023 would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their great loss.

She was wife of the late John Baptist Lohay OB), Mother to Josephine Lohay, Joseph Lohay, Gloria Anampiu, Paul Bura (Lohay) and Paula Moretti (Lohay). Mother-in-law to Stefano Moretti, Geoffrey Anampiu, Lisa Bura and Betty. Grandmother to Gianni, Jeffrey Koome, Karl, Baran, Maley, Bayri Bilal, Zena, Lindsey and Mani.

We offer our most heartfelt thanks to the many friends and well-wishers who visited us, attended the cremation and services in Nairobi and Sompet. Those who provided emotional, practical and financial support. Those who called, travelled long distances, made time for us, sent tributes, messages of condolences, prayed for us and showed us an outpouring of love.

A special word of thanks to her carers, Tracy Yohana and Faith Rukuyian Olomunyak who were with Ama 24/7 during Mum’s most challenging and difficult times.

Your contributions made our loss more bearable and it is not possible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.
