It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of C.I (Retired) Thomas Nyakundi Obwoge (Monyoncho) of Athiriver from Eremo, Keumbu formally acting OCPD, Suba on 18th October, 2018 at Nairobi Women’s Hospital, after a long illness bravely borne.

Son of the late Patrice Obwoge Bichage and late Alexina Nyamesebe, the late Jerusha Kangina. Nephew of the late Oigo, Siro, Osano, Hon. Chris Bichage. Grandson of the late Bichage Osano. Husband of the late Esther Chebet, Consolata Nyanchoka and Joyce Kemunto. Loving Dad of Charles, Anthony, Lillian, Victoria, Edith, Eleanor, Dolphine, Doris, Brenda, Angeline, Daniel, Gaudenciah and MercyGloria. Brother of Johnleo, Mary, the late Morris, Monda, Obwoge (CBK, Kisumu), Pius, the late Philip, Julius. Uncle of Justus, Emily, Violet, Macilinus, Carol, Douglas, Judy, Wily, Vero (Central Police) and others.

Father-In-Law of Karen, Naomi, Nicholas, Jared, Patrick. Grandfather of Tyler, Zeena, Abby, Regan, Xavier, Shantelle, Cynthia, Ben, Blessing, Kaylie, Trevor, Trey-Layne and Onsongo. Uncle and Cousin of many. Son-in-law of Chirchir, Kasmiri and Okora. Kin of the Bichages, Gekonges, Mokoros Kenyariris, Osanos, Getabus, Monyonchos, Nyankombas, Oburus among others. Korera of Omwenga, the late Asuma, the late Omwoyo, Maisiba.

Main fundraising will be held on 6th November, 2018 at Professional Center along Parliament road in Nairobi, Nyandoche Ibere and Kijauri Roche and in Kisii Mwalimu Hotel and Keumbu fundraising will be held on 5th November, 2018 all starting from 5.00pm.

The cortege leaves Nairobi Women’s Hospital Mortuary on 8th November to his home for an overnight stay.

Funeral and burial ceremony will be held on 9th November, 2018 at Nyamira County Nyansiongo Ward, Nyandoche lbere Village.
