It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we regret to announce the untimely death of TimSydney Asomba Sitati that occurred on 4th May 2018 in Juja Kiambu. He was a 2nd Year Student of Bachelor of Arts in Journalism at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.

Son of Prof. Saul Sitati Namango (Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering and Director of Eldoret West Campus Moi University) and Mrs. Rosemary Maloba (Principal St. Marys Soyiet High School, Nandi Hills). Brother of Marsha, Anita, Peggy-Pendo & best friend of Tracy Kajuju. Grandson of the late Rt. Rev. Bishop Isaac Namango, ACK Nambale Diocese & the late Kukhu Grace Wabuti, Rt. Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police Timothy Maloba & the late Kukhu Christine Namenya.

Nephew of Peninah Wanjala, the late Arthur Wesa, the late Rev. Eliud Sikuku, Alice Mundia, Rev. Rhoda Siang’a, Mary Wanyonyi, the late Jacob Namango, Dr. Bella Namango, Paddy, Joab, Mike, Frank, Ann, Betty, Sitialo’s, Khasolo’s, Opili’s, Mutamale’s and Were’s. Cousin of many including: Christine, Paul, Victor, Parxycedes, Tezzy, Tabitha, Diana, Isaac, Ian, Daphin, Opili, Brian, Wayne, Merlin, Kingsley, Ray, Doreen, Jael, Lewis, Alice, Samora, Ediga, Darly, Rina, Martin, Musungu, Douglas and MCA Sitati. Uncle of Keith, Elizabeth, Godrick and Grace.

There will be a fundraising to offset the funeral expenses at All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi from 5pm on Tuesday 15th May 2018.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on Thursday 17th May 2018 for prayer and burial at his parents’ home in Khasoko Village, Bungoma County on Saturday 19th May 2018.
