Tom Odhiambo Simbi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mzee Tom Odhiambo Simbi that occurred on 25th February 2023 at Migori County after a brief illness.

Loving husband to Evaline Awuor Simbi.

Son of the late Ernest Simbi Okumu and the late Magdalene Osano Simbi. Brother to the late Susilia Aoko Oywer, Mary Awino Migowe, the late Angeline Oketch Rambim, the late Charles Okumu Sirnbi and John Achieng Simbi.

Father to Edna Nanga Simbi, the late June Ngere Simbi, Marlene Bondo Simbi, Rita Akinyi Simbi, Brian Omito Simbi, Linda Achieng Simbi, Joan Aketch Simbi and Victor Okumu Simbi.

Grandfather to Margaret, Beuchi, Glen, Aiden,Wendo, Mahiri, Malika, Amelie, Samora, Jian, June, Jude, Jabali, Jeelani and Milani.

Father-in-law to David Mgala Beuchi, Kirimi Mitambo, Fenny Anyango Odongo and Samwel Odhiambo Ochanda.

At the time of his death he was a retired Civil Servant who previously worked with the Ministry of Water and Sanitation.

The cortege leaves St. Joseph Ombo Mission Hospital Mortuary for a funeral service on Thursday, 9th March 2023 at St Celestino Catholic Church Oruba Parish. The Burial will be conducted on Friday, 10th March 2023 at his home in Marindi, Suna, Migori County.
