Tony Herrnegger

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden death of Mr Tony Herrnegger after a short illness at a hospital in Mieders, Austria.

He was a great “Father”/Founder/ Executive Director of SOS Children’s Villages Kenya. He was also instrumental in the establishment of SOS Children’s Villages Uganda (Kakiri) and Tanzania (Zanzibar).

Beloved husband of Mrs Agnes Herrnegger, doting father to the late Karin, Doris, Mathew and many children in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.

A farewell memorial mass will take place on 20 July 2019 at St. Paul’s Chapel (UoN), Nairobi starting from 10 a.m. to celebrate the life of our great father.

Friends, relatives and all who knew Mr Herrnegger are invited to celebrate a life well lived.
