The family of the late Veronica Wairimu Mbuthia (Wa Mugweru) wish to convey their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who stood with us during her illness and passing away. We wish to express our profound appreciation for the prayers, messages of support, attendance and sympathy received through personal visits, calls and texts.

We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to the staff of Nazareth Hospital, St Consolata Catholic Church, Kiria-ini, the Catholic Women’s Association (CVVA), the Nation Media Group, Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua and Indian Ocean Tuna Ltd (Thai Union) of the Seychelles for their role.

Our gratitude also goes to the organising committee members who sacrificed to ensure everything went according to plan; special mention goes to Prof Frederick lraki for his steadfast commitment.

To all those who in one way or the other assisted in’condoling with us, words indeed cannot express enough how we feel for the expression of love and compassion during this difficult time.
