Vincent Chilumo Chonga (Man-K Kadede)

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Vincent Chilumo Chonga (Man-K, Kadede), who was promoted to glory on 10th December, 2022 at Coast General Hospital in Mombasa.

Beloved son of the late Mzee Chonga Mwakai and Myaza Chonga.

Adored husband to Christabel Chibole Odima Beloved Dad to Basil Mwafondo, Stephen Chonga Chilumo, Oliver Chapa and Rita Wangui and also Ken and Hilder, Shukurani, Kwesha, Pretty Siti, Fedlina and Mbodza.

Beloved brother to Francis, the late Peter, Julius, Sostin, Gabriel, the late Enock, Stanslus, Cosmas, johns Kevin, Oscar, George, Samuel, Kanze, Kwekwe, Francisca ldza (Me Mzungu), the late Esther, Philipina, Salome and Lilian.

A cherished grandfather to Ayana, Travis, Lozi Chonga, Adrian, Lozi Chapa, Shanique, Darren, Jarson, Maya, Josephine, Kristian, Kendra and Kara. Beloved son-in-law to the Odima family and in-law to Dr. Bernard and Dr.Anne Maina.

He was much loved uncle to Mapenzi, Betty, Robert, Killian, Thomas, Bernard, Uchi, Toppily, Dama, Ray, Rehema, Kai, Kahonzi, Vidzo, Pili, Serah, Dzame, Richman, Nyadzua Chongas and others, cousin, nephew and friend to many.

The funeral service will be held at his home in Silala Village – Mwarakaya, Chonyi, Kilifi County 10.00a.m on Saturday, 17th December, 2022. Thereafter he will be laid to rest at the same place.
