It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Violet Wangui Gikuma that occurred on 13th January 2020.

Wife of the late George Gikuma Kimere. Daughter of the late Macharia (Wabui) and Nyambura Macharia. Co-Wife of Eunice Wanjiru Gikuma. Sister of the late Beatrice Wambui Gathima, Gladys Wanjiru Ngamini, Kariuki Macharia (Husband of Joyce Muhura of Kiawambogo) and Mukami Kabiru. Mother of Joel Kimere, Esther Nyambura Gichimu, the late Nicholas Macharia, Winnie Muthoni Mwangi, Nancy Wanjiku Mwangi, the late Mercy Wambui, Philomena Wangari Karanja, Alfred Maina and Anthony Kariuki.

Mother-in-law of Lucy Wanjiru, Samuel Gichimu Gikonyo,Arthur Mwangi Chege, the late Mary Waithera, Amos Mwangi Kagai, Joseph Karanja Kamau, Elizabeth Wairimu and Hannah Watiri. Step Mother of the late Lucy Muthoni, Sister Rhoda, Grace Wanjiku Kamachu, Lilian Wanjohi, Mary Wangari, Samuel Gathogo, Duncan Kimere, Jennifer Wanja and Purity Njambi.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangements daily at Eureka Highrise Hotel and at her home Rwathia Farm Nyahururu from 6.00pm.

The Cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home Nairobi on Saturday 18th January 2020 At 6.00am For Funeral Service at Her Home Rwathia Farm Nyahururu.
