It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Virginia Gatune Kariuki, on 24th May 2019.

Wife of the late Kariuki Rukwaru. Co-wife of the late Phillis Mukwamugo and Agnes Mwimbi. Mother of Kambura and Kaaria, Mutwiri and Jane, the late Nkirote, Kiambi and Sarafina, Njagi and Doreen, Kabii and Faith, twins Gatakaa and Kawira Nyaga. Step mother of Edith and late Elias, late Njeru and Rita, Mbaya and Jessica, Gikundi and Mary, Kaari and Kirimi, Mutembei and Christine, Kaimuai and Bundi, Kandiga and Kirere, Riungu and Mary, Nyaga and Veronica ,Umotho, Kanyua and Muturi, Murithi and Gatwiri, Bundi and Stella, Ndege and Kambura and the late Karimi. Grandmother of Kagendo, Kathambi, Tony, Kageni, Mawira, Daniel, Gacheri, Linda, Mercy, Stephen, Kainyu, Kiambi, Sammy, Kariuki (GAAKE) Kendy and Esther amongst others. Great grandmother of many. Sister of Silvana, Gichunge, Karuru amongst others.

Funeral arrangement Meetings are taking place at Kiambi’s house at Landless Estate Thika and at her home Ithitu village from Sunday the 26th May 2019 to Wednesday 29th May 2019.

Funeral service (Mass) will be held on Friday the 31st of May 2019 at lthitu village, Nkumbo location, South Imenti starting 10:00am followed by burial at the same place.
