It is with humble acceptance of God’s will and timing that we announce the passing on of Virginiah Wanene Kiburu.

Daughter of the late Gerishon Mathu and Milka Wanjiku of Ndakaini. Beloved wife of the late Benson Kiburu. Daughter-in-law of the late Morrison Njenga Waweru (Waweru Farm) and the late Elizabeth Wanjiku. Phenomenal Mother of Carolyne Wanjiku, Pauline Mwangi, Elizabeth Wanjiku, Serah Rono, Winnie Mangutha and the late Bonnie Mathu. Warm Mother-in-law of Jude Eliezer, Ephantus Mwangi, Dave Rono and Walter Mangutha. Doting grandmother of Andrew, Charity, Joy, Asaph, Jesse and Jade.

Sister of Jane Wanjiru, Esther Nyambura, Jane Njeri, Alphonse Munga, Margaret Wangari, Mary Njeri, Mercy Wanjiku and the late Daniel Wairia and the late Irene Wambui. Sister-in-law of Moses Githinji, Peter Waweru, Peter Gitu, Daudi Kanja among others. Cousin, Auntie, Mentor, Teacher and Friend to many.

Friends and family are meeting daily at The All Saints Cathedral from 6.00pm to 8.00pm for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home off Mbagathi Way on Friday, 16th August at 6.00am. The service and burial will be conducted at Gichaka village, Ol Joro Orok sub-county, Nyandarua County on the same day from 10.00am.

Mum, you fought a good fight and finished your race with grace. Rest well, till we meet again.
