Vivian Chelangat Bett

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Vivian Chelangat Bett (Director Bethel Hill Academy) which occurred on 20th November 2022 at Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital, Eldoret-Memorial (Private Wing).

Daughter to William Ngeny and the late Rebecca Ngeny of Chepkurbet Village, Kapsoit of Kerciho County. Daughter-in-law to the late Elijah and Hannah Tobit of Chebwagan Village, Litein.

Wife of Peter Bett (Former Procurement Manager, Lake Victoria North Water Services Board).

Sister to Jackson, Evans, Rose, Titus, Bernard, Elizabeth, Emily (Bride Tents) and Edwin.

Loving mother to Roy Langat (Bethel Hill Academy), Brian Sum (Masinde Muliro University) and Prince Kiptoo (Strathmore University). Mother-in-law to Mercy Langat and grandmother to Brian Kipkalya Bett.

Sister-in-law to Bishop Dr. James Bett (Faith Ministries), the late Harry, Joseph, Richard, Jane, the late Sophia, Betsy (Solai), Hon. Alex (former MCA Litein and Rose (Chief Kiptagich). She was aunt and friend to many.

Prayers and funeral arrangements are ongoing daily at 4:00pm at her Chebwagan home, Kipkuna Village, Bureti Constituency.

There will be fundraising to offset medical bills on Thursday, 24th November 2022 at her Chebwagan home.

The cortege leaves Siloam Hospital Morgue on Friday, 25th November 2022 for a funeral service at hebwagan Faith Church from 3:00pm and an overnight stay, thereafter burial will be held on Saturday, 26th November 2022 at her Chebwagan home.

Mama has fought a good fight and finished the race and kept Faith!
