Wilbur Njemah Nashon Mwamsenge

1939 – 2017

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Wilbur Njemah Nashon Mwamsenge – renowned journalist formerly of VoK among others, which occurred on 8th December 2017 at the Kenyatta National Hospital following a short illness.

Son of the late Nashon Mwamsenge & the late Salome Mwae. Husband of Mrs.Tabitha Chao Njema. Dad of the late Marta, Patrick, Nashon and Mwaoshe. Brother of the late Dick Mwamsenge Nashon, Jane Talu Mnjau, Emily Manga Mwachoo and the late Agatha Jemimah Kanani. Beloved “Babu” of Salma, Tunu and Chao. Father-in-law of Lucy and Kanini Njema. Brother-in-law of the late Salome, Harun Mnjau, the late Mwachoo, the late Richard Kanani, Mike and the Mwangeka Family of Werugha. Uncle, cousin and beloved friend to many.

Friends and family will be holding a fundraiser to meet funeral expenses at Norwich Union House 4th Floor Room 6 at 5.30pm on Thursday 14/12/17. M-PESA contributions may be sent to the Wilbur Njemah Funeral Fund Lipa na M-PESA, Paybill No. 891300 Account No. 17242. (No Sending Charges).

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on 15/12/2017 at 9.00 am. Funeral service will be held 16/12/2017 from 10.00 am at Kishamba Village, Sagalla Location, Taita Taveta County.
