It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our beloved father Wilfred Mathenge Githaiga (Ndira) of Nyaribo village, Kiganjo location, Nyeri County. Which occurred on 17th August 2017. Husband of Lucy Wangari.Son of the late Githaiga Njuki and the late Keeru Githaiga.Father of Bilha Wothaya (Ministry of Works – Embu),

Mwai (Nairobi),Joram Kuria. Muga Academy Nyeri. Father-in-law of Esther Wairimu Njeru (Watuka Village), Peterson lrungu (Mukurweini), Peter Ngotho Kairu (Kinangop) and Jane Wanja Njuri (Kianjogu). Brother of the late
Charity Wandia Mutitu, the late Wambui Githaiga and Joyce Gathoni Muhuri. Grandfather of Noah Ndira,Alex Mathenge, Christine Wangari, Austin Mathenge. Njeru Githaiga, Lewis Mathenge, Jessica Wangari, Kezia ’
Wangari, Brenda Gathoni and Brandon Mathenge. Friends and relatives  are meeting daily at his home in Gitegi village, Nyaribo from 6:00 pm. for prayers and funeral arrangements .The cortege leaves Nyeri RG.H at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday 24th August for funeral service at his home followed by burial thereafter at 11:00 a.m.
