William Namwaya

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we wish to announce the passing on of William Namwaya after a short illness.

The second born son of the late John Walter Namwaya and Margaret Achieng Namwaya. Brother of the late Moses Omondi, Denis Namwaya, the late Prisca Peres (Dana), Lucy Namwaya, Christine Lukhoye (Tina), Joseph, Hilda, Liz, Joe, Dan, Lucy, Linda, George, Nelson, Christopher Namwaya. Husband of Namisha Atema Maina. Father of Gloria Namwaya & John Walter Namwaya. Nephew of John Bob Oyugi, the late Christopher Otieno, late George Omondi, Rosemary Akinyi (Colorado), Joseph Oyugi, (Colorado), Charles Ochieng, Tom Okoth, and Gabby Kallisto. Uncle and Cousin of many. In-law of Ernest Maina Mwanza, and the late Flora Makhungu. Brother in law to Rodgers Mwanza.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta Hospital Mortuary to Marachi, Busia on Friday 9th October at 10.00am. Burial will be on Saturday 10th October 2020 in Esimuli village, Marachi, Busia County.
