It is with great sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we regret to announce the death of Wilson Kimathi Kahare which occurred on 5th August, 2019.

Beloved husband of Marion Kagwiria. Son of the late Henry Kahare and Prudence Kahare. Son-inlaw of the late Bishop Peter Amilaki and Judith Amilaki.

Adoring father of Gitonga Kimathi, Caroline Makena and Amos Mwirigi. Brother of the late Eng. Miano, the late Dr Ngatia, the late Amon, Gakuru, the late Funny, Molly, the late Dr Muita, the late Catherine, Mary, Kirimi, Wanja, Lydia, Gicheru and Kagendo.

Brother-in-law of Zipporah, Rosemary, Salome, Kathuni, Nkoroi, the late Gitonga, the late Mwirigi, Nyamu, Esther, Paul, Priscilla, John, the late Stephen, Jeremy, Truphosa and Ken. An uncle, cousin and friend of many.

The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home on Monday 12th August, 2019 at 9.00am. Funeral service will be held at Kiamutuja Methodist Church, South Imenti Sub-county, Meru County at 10.00am followed by the burial at his home in Kiamutuja village, on the same day.
