We are saddened to announce the passing on of Winnie Margaret Oketch, formerly of Kenya Ports Authority, on 1st May, 2021.

Beloved mother of Sydney, Michelle, Sabrina, Angela and Brian. Doting grandmother of Jasmine Pendo. The second born of 11 siblings born to Mama Clementina Atieno namely: The late Ahenda, Johannes, the late Margaret Francis, the late John, Carolyne, the late Paul, the late Okoth, Maureen and Florence. Other siblings from their family include Ben Gor, Joseph Otieno, and Francis Omondi, amongst others.

Sister-in-law of Risper Mgeni, Monica Ochieng, Caroline Maneno, Rhoda and Anna. Auntie of Kelvin, Christine, Cynthia, Mercy, Lyn, Duncan, Ronald, Getrude, Stanislaus, Damian, Sostanis, Oketch, Rose, Millicent, Nicole, Ashley, Brandon and Bradley, among others.

The cortege leaves the Aga Khan Hospital – Mombasa, on Saturday, 22′ May, 2021, for a Requiem Mass at the Holy Family Catholic Church, Kiembeni from 10.00am. The burial will take place on the same day in Mnarani – Kilifi.
