Yunuke Mong’are Oyagi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our beloved mother-Yunuke Mong’are Oyagi, which occurred on Monday 10th May, 2021, after short illness.

Daughter of the late Gilfance Matagaro and the late Maria Kwamboka of Bomoseri village, Magenche Ward. Wife of the late Mzee Augustine Oyagi Nyangena of Bomocha village, Kenyenya Sub-county.

Mother of Jane Mogiti, Enosh Machoka, Grace Nyauma, Elijah Mogonchi, Henry Nyabuto, DCC Gideon Nyandiricha (Nyandarua Central), Obed Nyangena (Kisii County Government) and Walter Oyagi (Nyamondo Secondary). Sister of the late Baskaria, the late Jeremiah, Mary, Abisiba, Yusubera, Lucia, the late Maruanga, the late Kerubo, the late Ogechi, the late Angasa, the late Kabaka and the late Makura.

Sister-in-law of the late Kombo, the late Ondieki, the late Onduso, Nyanchoka, Sarange, Moraa, Mary Sarange, Mogiti, Basweti, Monicah, the late Bathsheba and the late Biyaki. Others are the late Josiah, the late Pius, the late Onyancha, the late Isomba, the late Nyagwachi, the late Juana, the late Monchanda, Gilbert,Ayienda, Manyoni, Mosongoi and many more.

A fundraising to defray funeral expenses will be held on Thursday 20th May 2021 from 10.00am, at her home.

Mourners will assemble at the Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital (KTRH) mortuary on Sunday 23rd May 2021 for prayers at her Bomocha home. The cortege leaves the mortuary on Monday 24th May 2021 for prayers at Santa Primary School grounds, Kenyenya Sub County and burial on the same day.
